My name is Aidan O'Brien until recently I ran a second hand guitar shop in the suburb of Ladybarn Manchester ; next to Burnage the home of Oasis called "Littleguitarshop".
The shop is the natural outcome of a combination of 2 factors in my life ; a love of guitars and music and the oncoming of a recession where I was made redundant in the peak of it.
At a crossroads ( there's a song in there ) I started my "littleguitarshop " trading in mainly second-hand guitars and amps with Public Address (PA ) equipment for hire at reasonable rates.
With help of my 2 sons put together a friendly local music shop offering decent deals ; unfortunately current state of the economy sales were not supporting the overhead.
Currently based at the AWOL studios in Hope Mill I can offer guitar setup and servicing and a repair service for amps and PA I'm offering a "mobile " guitar service whereby folk can have their beloved guitar picked up and returned to home or work location.
I have 3 PA rigs for hire catering for small bands , parties and functions ( 350 -1K active ) with 8-20 Channel mixers.
I can offer setup and engineering on these and digital recording if required,
I am a musician myself with my roots in modern US folk as in Eagles , Neil Young , but strong influence from the Beatles and my Celtic roots which show in my fingerpicking style . In my last band I played Bass with backing vocals in the best Blues band the Northwest has seen " The V8's " sadly now disbanded ; we did get on The Paul Jones show on Radio 2 and he liked us .After much digital glitches I'm uploading my own home produced tunes to various locations.
